2012 VESTA Home Show

After a two-year drought due to the economic recession that devastated the Home Building industry, the Memphis Area Home Builders Association (MAHBA) is pleased to announce the return of the VESTA Home Show! They will host the 2012 Fall VESTA Home Show through a partnership with Community Bank of North Mississippi. The VESTA Home Show provides an opportunity for MAHBA and its members to show their commitment to support and develop sustainable, energy-efficient and affordable homes.

St. James Place, an intimate, gated 12-lot subdivision on Forest Hill Irene Rd. in Germantown, TN will be the site of the 2012 VESTA Home Show. Five of MAHBA’s Certified Green Professional Registered Builders will participate in the upcoming show. Each one will build their uniquely designed, MLGW Eco-BUILD energy-efficient certified homes on the 1-acre lots. The five Show homes will be a minimum of 4,500 sq. ft. and will be priced from $675,000 to $750,000.

These VESTA homes represent a great investment of time, energy and money and MAHBA is anticipating a wonderful response from the community as they visit the homes and see the latest construction technologies, hottest decorating trends and newest appliances and furniture.

MAHBA is also pleased to announce a new partnership with the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis & the Mid-South. For this VESTA Home Show, DSA Memphis will provide critical volunteer resources to help produce the show and in return will receive a portion of the Show revenues. This partnership will help bring much deserved and needed attention to the efforts of DSA Memphis as they bring the Nation’s focus to this condition and to the great work toward support, treatment and prevention.
